Steam boiler replacement planning

Describe the existing steam heating system before requesting a replacement. Include the boiler, radiators, and any planned changes to the building. Confirm steam-project fit with Air Zone before making equipment or scheduling decisions.

What information is useful before a site visit?

The boiler model, fuel type, and approximate age are a useful start. Note whether radiators have been added or removed and whether the building layout is changing. You do not need to diagnose the system to make an inquiry.

What should be included in a steam replacement discussion?

Ask how the existing radiators and piping will be assessed, how the replacement will be selected, and which piping and controls are included. Ask for exclusions and any follow-up work to be written down.

Can I request a repair here?

Air Zone’s website is for new installations and complete replacements. For a repair or maintenance visit, contact a service provider. If you are considering replacing the complete system, describe that scope in your inquiry.

These notes help you prepare an inquiry. Equipment selection, price, scheduling, and the work Air Zone can provide must be confirmed for your property.
