HVAC planning for new construction

Start the HVAC discussion while the building layout is still being coordinated. Share the current drawings and project stage so equipment locations and routes can be discussed with the people responsible for the rest of the build.

What can I send before the plans are final?

Identify the drawing revision and explain what is still changing. Include the building type, project address, approximate size, and target construction dates. A link to the current plans can go in the request details.

Who should be involved?

Include the builder or general contractor and the person responsible for design decisions. Ask who will coordinate electrical work, equipment access, ventilation, permits, and any required inspections.

How should I request a bid?

Specify whether you have a defined equipment scope or need to discuss the design first. Include the bid deadline, drawing revision, exclusions you already know about, and the contact who can answer scope questions. Air Zone must confirm project fit and availability.

Include in your inquiry

  • Project address and residential or commercial use
  • Current drawing link and revision
  • Builder, designer, or project contact
  • Bid deadline and target construction schedule

These notes help you prepare an inquiry. Equipment selection, price, scheduling, and the work Air Zone can provide must be confirmed for your property.
